This system was developed on the BMW M2 Competition (F87N) with OPF/GPF, but it fits both OPF and non-OPF versions. ECE approval applies only to cars equipped with OPF/GPF.

The latest addition to BMW’s M series, the M2 Competition, is an exquisite high-performance car—and it gets even better with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line. Crafted from titanium (with select components cast in-house), this system cuts exhaust weight by over 45 %, frees up horsepower, and reduces backpressure. Akrapovič engineers have tuned the note for an authentic sporty tone in the mid- and high-RPM ranges—without any drone. Carbon-fiber tailpipes add a final performance touch to the rear. Performance potential climbs further when paired with the optional Evolution Link Pipe Set. Optional carbon-fiber diffusers and mirror caps complete the visual upgrade.

Installation is straightforward, and the system is designed to meet ECE approval.

An optional Akrapovič Sound Kit (P-HF1177) is available—though if you add the Evolution Link, the advanced sound control is already built in and the separate kit isn’t needed. Note: installing any Sound Kit voids the ECE approval.

Cutting of the factory exhaust is required for Slip-On installation; please follow the instructions closely.
